Przedsiębiorczość w ujęciu Jana Pawła II

In this article the economic activity, human work and social life in modern industrial societies in the teaching of John Paul II is described. The human vocation to service and solidarity, to work is the most important right for the people in the modern society. Work is as 'places' where workers can express themselves. In John Paul's II opinion the work is a way to participate in God's continuing work of creation. He taught that workers have "the right to establish professional associations". All people have the right to economic initiative, to productive work, to just wages and benefits, to decent working conditions, as well as to organise and join unions or other associations. In the encyclicals John Paul II showed the new way for the church and the societies.

Człowiek kluczową odpowiedzią istnienia, rozwoju i konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstwa

In today’s times is witness’s process, in which market economy mastered almost whole world. This process was possible to qualify as sure the kind the triumph of market and in it the enterprises. These, which settle about existence, are in today’s times the development and competitiveness of enterprise consistent binding with man and him work. Increasing material goods, profit or power is not the aim of workings of enterprise usually, but it has before to be a service for man, peaceably with him material, intellectual, moral, spiritual and religious requirements. Because man is as the largest wealth: „source”, „aim” and „road” enterprise. The question about anthropological sense of every economic activity stays so decisive criterion and challenge, for the national economy, as and for economy of enterprise and concrete management the enterprise, and what important is, for way of stringing of problems in ethic-economic reflection. From here in question about meaning and value of human work, for us isn’t interesting a factor of production only, but us interest in obvious way same man’s value, him dignity and him person’s integrality. We interest also a significant transformation in world of the work, which is visible already today. Also we interest a new putting to the work, an altered expectation in the face of workers, in the face of culture of enterprise, in the face odds the structures of organization and management in enterprises.

One should to notice, that the anthropocentric formulation of whole system of economy gets the agreement – at least declarative – very many economic environments. The ideas of service the man very economic environments. The ideas of service the man across economic activity odds enterprise as well as responsibility of economic subjects for different circles of participants of the economic life at all aren’t „devout wishes” proclaimed though Church. They are the universal principles contained in the „Manifesto from Davos” (1973) or in principles formulated on the forum of Round Table in Caux (1994). They become worked out by same representatives of world business.
